Voa With 7 Day Extension Expiring - Where To Get Next Voa?

Featured Replies

my 30 day with the 7 day extension expires on the 15th. wanted to know where the best place is to fly out for a night? do i need to spend the night? or is a simple border crossing an option. have read so many threads this morning and quite honestly i'm confused (again).

i'm off to europe on the 21 st so i can easily do a proper tourist visa while i'm there however i need to get some sort of visa/stamp to get me to the 21st.

my worry is that i've heard that there is a limit on the amount of days you are allowed to stay using VOA. last thing i want is to be refused entry :)

any advice would be great.

thx

I doubt if you qualify for a VOA.

Leave the country and return by air and you will get a 30 days Visa Exempt Entry.

Return by land and you will get a 15 day Visa Exempt Entry

There is no stay limitation but you might have questions asked after 4 visa exempt entries in a row. You can cross any land border and return for a 15 day stamp to get you to exit date. No need to spend any time more than getting stamps. There are daily trips from Bangkok for about 2,000 baht all inclusive. Do a Google search or check local papers for ads.
