Double Entry Tourist Visa From Colombo

Successfully obtained a TR visa from Colombo, Sri Lanka despite having a red stamp from Vientiane. No questions asked about the red stamp. I was asked to provide both inbound and outbound flights, proof of employment and write a letter as to why I wanted double entry. I had neither outbound flight nor proof of employment outside of Thailand but they were satisfied when I showed a bank statement with suitable funds.

Embassy is complete chaos, do not expect that if you hand in your application then everything is fine, some people going back 4th day in a row to obtain visa, admittedly these were local Sri Lankans who had to provide a lot more paperwork for their TR visas. I had to wait 3 hours on collection day while I provided additional paperwork (letter & bank statement), thankfully I was dealt with before the 5pm cut-off although plenty weren't.
