Could someone help me translate the attached document?

It starts with birthday wishes (from someone younger to someone older).

I'll loosely translate it. So, here it goes.

"Here's wishing you a happy birthday or something similar to your birthday. I hope you will be a good person for me (your wife) forever. Let go of the bad past and can we start fresh (anew) like you promised me? (Name) I will love you forever and with every breath I take in this life."

It may not be perfect but I think you get the message.

Thats interesting I read รับสายด้วย as ผมรับสาย 'call me', you have คุณรับสาย pick up the 'phone, now I see that it is more or less the same pick-up and call me(mine), or pick-up when I call(yours). I often pick the wrong pronoun, usually if it starts in the 1st person I tend to keep it there.

It seems to me that when I was told by a Thai that the Thai language was ภาษาดิ้น ( I am not sure of the word' wriggly?') it means that it is meant to be ambiguous, probably because it gives a way out to both(all, if you include us) parties, as in this case. Have you covered that in one of your blogs Rikker?

I would not call it ภาษาดิ้น. I could not see how it could be translated any other way than Rikker's.

You did get the word right but not the meaning. I don't think ภาษาดิ้น mean that the ambiguity is intentional.

It probably just the language itself that relying on context and topic being discussed rather then exact words.

When you think you have got what a sentence mean, the other meaning come out and the sentence wriggle out of your grasp. It sometimes even bites.

My sister was out on a medical camping treating hill tribe people. She asked on old lady what was her illness. She said "เป็นอะไรคะ" literally translated "What are (you). The lady said "Same as you, I am a Laosong (ลาวโซ่ง one of the hill tribe's name)"

Sometimes with a little twist a sentence would mean something completely different.

หมอหมา doctor dog or the vet but if you said หมอหมาหมา, you are insulting a doctor and said the he behaving like a dog.

In a meeting, a female member was complaining at the chair man telling him that he was soft and not controlling the meeting. She kept repeating "ท่านประธานไม่แข็ง ท่านต้องแข็งๆหน่อยนะค่ะ" you are not hard, you have to be a be harder. Male members started laughing and the room was burst into laughter when the chair man said "My dear, I am in my seventies and it is difficult for me to be hard all the time" They were MPs and this happened in the house of parliament.

The word "ครับ" indicate that it is a message from a man.

I just guess from the tone of language used that it is to a woman. I could be wrong.
