Will27
Hi gang. Further investigations seem to be that the best local helmets are Real or Index. With that in mind, I went in search of a place. Found a small motorbike shop called Max Speed Motor which is on Sangkongnoi Rd, opposite Rajyotha Soi 2 (excuse the spelling). Not a large range, about 5 Reals and 3 Index. I picked up a Real GJ 998 for 1400 Baht which I'm more than happy with. The only problem I see may be the size factor. I have a pretty small melon and my size was large. So you might have to order one if they don't have your size. All in all, a nice lady, nice shop, good service and prices. Regards Will

PeaceBlondie
Yes, he would. But Chiang Rai does its own thing. They don't shop for a 20,000 baht Arai or Shoie in Bangkok.
sceadugenga
We have better things to do with 20,000 baht when we go to Bangkok.
