Angkor With Less Than 6 Months On Passport

Featured Replies

I have someone visiting from Canada for two weeks to escape the Winter Olympics. They only have 5 months left on their passport and they would also like to go to Angkor for a few days.

Anyone know if Cambodia is a stickler for the 6 months passport thing.

Yes and so is Thailand. Airline may not let him board.

Better to get a new passport, not worth the worry of will they won"t they??

And also all that money gone to waste.

Dont quote me but Im pretty sure that one of the requirements to get apply for visas is to have a min of 6 months left on yr passport...

The rule is you need at least 6 months before your passport expires to get a visa for almost anywhere. New passport is necessary, or as they say you will not get a visa.

The passport must be valid for traveling to Thailand and has at least 6 months validity remaining. Failure to observe this request will result in the refusal of visa.
