Hello BM's,

I would like to share my good news with everyone at the fact the GF got her Visit Visa first time!!! (the passport was returned last Wednesday but she only got back to BKK today to pick it up)

I would like to give a big thank you to everyone on this forum. I have not been a big poster on this site, but have used all the information available on this forum to help me in the process of finally getting a visa for my GF to visit me. There is so much information available on the forum if people just take the time to do a search and research the process. Also just asking members on here will no doubt get you the answers you’re looking for.

Thanks to all the people asking the questions that were similar to my situation, and all the experienced members who came back with helpful, informative answers. Without all the information available here I doubt I could have done the whole process myself.

To people in the process of obtaining visas to the UK, stay positive and as long as you provide suitable evidence of your relationship there should not be a problem. I don’t own my own house, I am always overdrawn in my bank account and my GF now has no job… or any land or assets in Thailand but we were still successful!!!

Now all I need to do is try and get a flight booked up. Anyone know of any good websites/phone numbers for flight agencies where I can get a good price BKK to LHR return? Flying from BKK return seems so much more expensive than when I fly from LHR return.

Thanks once again guys,

It can be cheaper to book a return filght.

No idea why....

I always fly Etihad. Had some good deals in the past. June 2009 12 days Manchester to bkk £340 inc tax.. best ever. adv £500 return. The Most I have ever paid £705 had to be there so had to pay.
