Cost Of College Education In Bangkok For Thai Citizen?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any idea how much are college fees in bangkok and how much it would cost per year including admission and tuition fees. Average college, neither too high end nor too low end.

The girl already has 2 years of college education and needs to complete two more to get a degree. Probably a degree in accounts or english.

Also does anyone know about admission dates and college start dates?

Depends on the school. As you know education is a money making business in Thailand. The school that I teach business courses, which is an ave. school, the tuition is 60k a semester and the government helps about 30%if get B or higher

Neole,

At the risk of sounding like a cynic. The best way to find out the fees would be to have the girl enrole (LITTLE OR/NO COST) and when the first bill comes you can see it and pay it. No room for ambiguity.

Could always ask her for the bills of the two years she did, just to get some idea of what you would be paying. That would be a good indicator.

Good luck.

Is that for MBA or BBA? She would be doing undergraduate.......

Most school websites will have the cost per term on them. The prices change depending on University, program, and whether it is taught in Thai or English.

For example, the MIR program at Thammasat is 28,000B/term, taught in Thai, for Thai nationals. Taught in English, the price jumps to 45,000 for Thai nationals, 63,000 for foreigners.

What uni did she study at? Is she re-enrolling there? What area in Bangkok will she be studying in? (Bang na, Rangsit, Sala Ya, etc.)

Fee per term at public university Rajjabhat is about 4.500 Baht, for the 3rd and 4th year. THis is what my missus paid for her accounting studies.
