National Park Onroute To Chiang Rai

Featured Replies

G'day,

I have driven to Mesai twice (for obvious reasons) and noticed a park or national park to the right before reaching Chiang Rai. Not sure if it's after the hot springs or not.

I'll looking for a weekend getaway to the park. Does anyone have more information?

Was at the Obluang National Park last weekend and it was a very nice, so I'm addicted to it.

thanks

Matt

The big cave on the right about 20 km south of Mesai is worth a visit also, the guide told us it goes for about 18 km and comes out in Myanmar.

Khun Chae National Park - Highway 118 runs right through it. See here: http://www.thaiforestbooking.com/np_home.a...id=147&lg=2

Thanks for that. It's the one I'm looking for. Do you know if it's before or after the hot springs ? The one by the road where there is a newly constructed temple that is made to look old.

The cave is too far to visit, but the national park is nice at about an hour away. Also, we can take the dogs with us.

Matt
