looking for a reliable and economical car or bus service from mandarin Hotel Bangkok to River Kwai resort Sai yok, we can not take the train as we have a blind friend accompanying us, would be grateful for any help as soon as possible nignoy

You may find a taxi off meter might serve you well, perhaps 1500-2000 baht. Saying that depends on what taxi you get, if you grab one outside the Mandarin hotel they will no doubt offer you an stupid price. Perhaps call the Taxi station and fix a price that way?

About six months ago I had to do the route almost every week. Used a cab driver that I work with. 1500 Bt.

Pehaps pass Nignoy on the tel number if you have it? I know for a taxi driver to do the run off meter always works out a nice days work. It's what a 3 1/2 hr - 4 hr drive there and back?
