Channah Thailand, Asia's premier drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre is expanding. We will be opening centres in Kanchanaburi, Chanthaburi and Pattaya.

Over the next 15 months we want to recruit up to 20 suitably qualified Drug and Alcohol Counsellors as well as support workers and nurses. Applicants with experience of working with young people are particularly welcome. There will be vacancies for centre managers and team leaders within this quota

We offer an attractive salary, work permits, food and accommodation (or living out allowance). 28 days per year leave (inclusive of public holidays) and a great work experience.

We want people with experience of working with drug and alcohol problems using CBT based material. Counselling qualifications that are verifiable and an ability to work in a close knit team and community. You need to be able to work under pressure at times and be willing to muck in as required. Whilst we support and encourage our clients to seek support through NA/AA we do not operate a 12 step model.

Support workers do not need a counselling qualification but experience of working with vulnerable adults would be beneficial. An ability to drive is also essential. If you have a full driving licence from your home country we will obtain a Thai driving licence for you.

We would also like to hear from complementary therapists and Yoga teachers.

In the first instance please send your CV to Simon Gunn by PM

Interviews will be held in Thailand at any time. I will also be conducting interviews in Melbourne in March, Glasgow, Liverpool and London in April and San Antonio, Texas in May
