The Dowry!

So, when I met the parents nothing was spoken of THE DOWRY... I expect that this will crop up in my next visit to see them.

What on earth should I expect?

Is it a certainty that this has to be paid?

Im starting to feel nervous....

Are you making arrangements to marry the girl when you meet them? If not, wouldn't worry about it. If so, do a search for dowrys in thaivisa coz there is another thread about this somewhere else here currently running.

We got enaged since I last met them and Im back in the UK now but going back to Thailand very soon and will see them then.
