Airbeds In Thailand

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can buy an airbed in Thailand? I don't mean the temporary single chamber guest bed type, I mean the high end double chamber, foam topper type that looks like a conventional mattress and costs about $1000. in the USA.

If I try to have one imported from the states what kind of trouble can I expect from Thai customs? Thanks in advance.

I bought 1 from Home Pro about 2 years ago, they had quite a selection. Can not remember what I paid for it but think it was about 3500 Baht 2 x single beds. Its quite good and has been used a lot with out problems. Still I think it was over priced as I bought 1 in Australia for about 2500 Baht ($80 AUD) and it is better with a built in pump.

Hope you can find a Home Pro near you...

Thank you Bartman. I'll stop by Home Pro today here in Phuket and check it out. The kind of airbed I am talking about you couldn't touch for 3500Baht. The one I had in the USA had two totally separate chambers that could be inflated/deflated individually for you and your spouse with separate digital remotes. They have a foam topper and look like a regular mattress only it's the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. I paid $850. USD for a low range one 12 years ago in the states. You can see what I mean at www.airbedsunlimited.com

I really appreciate your help.
