I will be returning the US permanently in March and would like to be able to withdrawal from my Kasikorn debit card. I have some funds that will be put into my account most likely after I leave Thailand. Can I access my card abroad? I tried looking online and haven't been able to find an answer. Has anyone had any problems with this?

Thanks- I called a few days ago and no one spoke English. It was really odd. And I left my phone at work today, so I was just hoping someone on the forum might have some experience with this. Even if the bank says I can access the card abroad, I am interested to see if anyone has had any problems doing this.

My K-bank debit card works in Australian ATMs.

I have used mine in Australia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Bali, UK and France, not once have I had a problem.

Hope that puts your mind at rest.

I used mine in Singapore, PNG, Australia, New Zealand and the UK and it works all the time there is money in the account.

I have tried using my Kbank debit card in the USA and it never works. I get the message "card error" or similar message but when I am in the LOS it works just fine. I dont know what the problem is but I cant even get a balance inquiry to work in the USA.

You need a visa debit card for it to work overseas. Never had any problem with mine in the US.

There are ywo types of debit cards

Just make sure you have the one you can use outside Thailand

If it shows card error, call the bank to have it activated or try another ATM.

I also have Kbank and mine works just fine in US

Mine works overseas without issue.
