My New Cow

I needed another cow for my Issan farm, so I headed off in my pickup from Chum Phae to nearby Khon Kaen as I heard that a farmer there had one for sale.

He drives to Khon Kaen, found the farm and looked at the cow. I reached under to see if the cow gives milk.

When I grabbed a teat and pulls .... the cow farted.

Surprised, I looked at the farmer who's selling the cow, then reached under to try again.

I grabbed another teat, pulls, and the cow farts again. Milk does come out however, so after some discussion with the cow's current owner, I decided to buy the cow.

When I got back to Chum Phae , I called over a fellow farang neighbor, Sven, and said, 'Hey, Sven, come and look at my new cow I just bought. Pull her teat, and see what happens.'

Sven reaches under, pulls the teat ... the cow farts.

Sven looks at me and says, You bought this here cow over in Khon Kaen, didn't you?'

I was very surprised since I hadn't told Sven about my trip.

I replied, 'Yes, that's right. But how did you know?'

Sven says, 'My wife is from Khon Kaen.'
