Military On The Move

Featured Replies

Lop Buri, Soldiers from the biggest military city in Thailand are on the move in all directions, but a multitude of them are heading to Bangkok.

How do I know, because I saw all the trucks and busses going past me when I was in Lop Buri.

I would expect a lot of road blocks to now be set up as it gets closer to the 20th of the Month and for Thaksins court ruling on the 26th. :)

they don't need yet another military putch - they are the government.

<deleted>! I didn't see any and I'm about 2 miles from the Airport so.....

No movement here in PB, home of the RTA's 2d Infantry Division...

They are doing what they normally do......

Nothing. ( besides the normal landscaping, which seems to be the majority of the MOS in the RTA )

They have had annual major live fire training exercise in Lopburi the last few days as reported extensively on TV so expect it is ending.

Probably Cobra Gold heading back to Sattahip, as i saw their Black Hawks landing in a yard near the port.

apropros of which, wouldn't 'Cobra Gold' be a great name, for a new brand of beer ? ! All the troops would buy it, the Americans might feel flattered, and they could paint 'Cobra Gold' on the side of the tanks, as official-sponsors ! :)
