^please stop that's pretty vile stuff. Mind you - that's not anyone's idea of PIZZA. I far prefer the Italian crap compared to that....

just to give you an idea where UG is coming from, that's all; btw Welsh grub is beneath contempt

Hmmm Italian pizza? :)

in fact that's not pizza, not in the classical sense. it's a type of focaccia pizza style bread sold in deli shops and eaten on the go, no cheese on it. For someone who claims to have travelled extensively in Italy, confusing the two things really shows that you don't know what you talking about; btw that looks delicious to eat as a snack

Hey Brit, you might not believe it but i actually like your pics and i know what they might taste like if they are original, it's kinda late to eat now, however looking at the Pizza Company website they say their cheese comes from 100% pure milk, mmm, why they are so vague? i guess it's cow's milk, but who really knows? so many animals can produce milk....

That is why these guys think that it is so good in Italy! :)

Pizza in the UK as in Italy is a snack. I dunno why the Americans want to make such a meal of it. :D

Looks like some kind of weird tandoori naan! :)

i love indian food too, who can resist a fresly baked naan? or even a Middle Eastern Pitta bread and the italian Piadina!

There's cheese on that!

How can you expect people to believe you are an expert on pizza when you don't even recognises melted cheese.

For the record I quite like Italian style Pizza but I still think that the Yanks make the best Pizza. It's teh same with Indian food, I quite like authentic Indian Food but prefer the English version of it.

I love indian food as well. And I reckon paneer would be better than the rubbish on the top of a Pizza Comany offering! :D

Or Dominos or Pizza Hut or any other non italian mozzarella offering. Have any of these Americans tasted real mozzarella I wonder?

They probably have....in prepacked slices! :)

Agreed, British style Indian food is better than the original but why are people postintg pictures of Thai pizzas with hotdogs and such? They have nothing to do with this conversation.

[The trouble with your biased opinion is that what you're used to is not pizza, but baked, spongy fried crust overloaded with lurid amount of toppings.
If you are accustomised to your local food, well that's just normal, however when i see all those ingredients just mixed up all together on top of the pizza make my stomach revolt itself, same as using ketchup, mayonnaise, durian....thanks but no thanks, i am going for the burma's sandwiches...

This does not sound anything like any American pizza that I've ever had outside of maybe the frozen ones at the supermarket. Maybe you haven't figured out that you can order them without all the weird crap that the Thais like. I usually have tomato sauce and cheese and sometimes add pepperoni and mushrooms.

Frankly, the pizza is not the real problem, it sounds as if whoever has ordered these type of pizzas has a few brain-cells missing! k2878158.jpg

Pizza wars. Instead of explaining why the so called Italian Pizza or the so called American Pizza is delicious, people argue by badmouthing about the other pizza.

And it's not the hot season yet.

Yes, American pizza is far the best in the world,

yes, British style Indian food is better than the original.

Can you give me the number of your pusher??

Both pics of Italian pizza look like a half-dried-up mud puddle, crusty dirt around the edges, with a few odd things drying up in the middle. Tastes like it too.

On the other hand, I believe the Blue Ribbon Award goes to Chicago Deep-Dish Pizza! Even visually, alone, it's like comparing apples and oranges.
