alant
recently returning from pattaya i was faced with a puzzle of can you go up the 9 for a while before it becomes a toll road. my garmin says yes but the signs sort of indicate no. can those who know the area clue me in on exactly the situation here many thanks al (as this is the bikes forum i am assuming i dont need to say i am on a bike) Edited February 22, 2010 by alant
VocalNeal
Alan, Hwy 9 from Rama II (34) to BangNa IS toll already. On a bike you can continue on 34 until Suksawat then go south until you see signs for RamaIII and take the Industrial Ring, then go towards Puchao Saming Phrai Road. I am sorry I do not know what the road sign says but you need to take the left hand exit just before the bridge over the river. This is NOT legal but there are not usually police especially at night. Last night there were two HD's on the bridge. To be 100% legal you are still stuck with the Prapadeang ferry to Bang Na.
