Romantic Places To Stay

Featured Replies

Will be travelling around the islands in May...looking for some "romantic" places to stay without breaking the bank.

Anyone any experience of these places? Or other suggestions? Budget 3-5k a night

The Kala in Samui.

Panviman in Phangan.

Viewpoint in Koh Tao.

Many thanks :)

On the beach, free! Fall over in a bar due to excess and sleep at the back, free. Not very romantic if you have a partner but interesting if you are single. :)

Well, Fisherman's Village is ok for a bit of dinner at night but I wouldn't want to stay there.

Budget as mentioned 3-5k. Nice view or on the beach.

Sorry, I should have made it clear...but I don't usually stay in "romantic" places on my own...or with blokes! :D:D:D

Depending on what time of year your travelling there would be a few quite places to go to.

Last August i spent a few days on Koi Samet it about a 40 minute drive from pattaya and a short boat trip across to the island.

Virtually all the hotels are on the beach front and many have bungalows to, also its a national park so its vert well kept.

Nightlife is not to bad just sit and eat, drink and chillout on one of the many places on the beach.

The Viewpoint in Koh Tao looks beautiful. Has anyone stayed there and have any comments? Looking to take the wan jai noi away for a few romantic days on the beach. Thanks!

I don't know about Phangan, but the Panviman in Koh Chang was great. Very service oriented, beautiful layout, good food, and we both felt it was really romantic. There were hardly any other guests that we could see, so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. They even have a swing set up on the beach between two palm trees, so you can push your partner on the swing while you watch the sun set...
