Here we have another bigtime fraudster and suspected career criminal getting taken down in Bangkok. Happens every week, yet when it happens in Pattaya everyone is up in arms about it. My point is that both cities can be seen to outsiders (and not the tut-tutters living in either city) as being cut from the same cloth when it comes to their desirability as hideouts for overseas criminals.
