Working in thailand

Featured Replies

I am in the process of negotiating a job as a financial planner in Bangkok.

I am an Australian and these questions go to any expats who are living and working in Bangkok.

Are there many expats in Bangkok? Are there many Australian associations and clubs in Bangkok? Is there many international corporations in Bangkok? Do these corporations employee many expats? What sort of jobs do most of the expats have in Bangkok and what sort of money do they earn? What sort of tax is payable by expats working in Thailand? Are there any expat financial planners in Bangkok at the moment working in the expat market?

Sorry to bombard you guys with all of these questions but this is my first time in Bangkok and my first time to work overseas.
