February 25, 201016 yr Hello everybody, yesterday I was at the Thai postal office and wanted to send 2 bottles of creme back to Germany. I got told that it is only allowed to ship 100 cc (ml) of liquid / cream etc. overseas. They denied my bubble envelope. I was doing some research in the internet and on ebay and it seems everybody is sending cremes, toothpaste etc. overseas in large quantities and nobody seems to have problems. Has anybody had the same problem and is there a solution to it. I do not like to send UPS or Fed EX because of the high shipping cost. Looking forward to hear back from you guys and gals
February 25, 201016 yr The 100 cc. implies that they will send it by air mail. You could ask if they will send it by surface mail, maybe than there is no restriction. Might be worth to ask.
February 25, 201016 yr there's no restriction on postage of liquids, restriction only applies when you take a plane and plan to keep the liquid in cabin.
February 25, 201016 yr You should just go to another post office. Sorry to say but most Thailand Post employees are retarded. In my 7 years of exporting from Thailand, any and every time i used Thailand Post it turned into a nightmare. I have complained, wrote letters, spoke to post masters and nothing was ever resolved. Once i even involved a lawyer to deal with them and still nothing was achieved. JUST GO TO ANOTHER POST OFFICE AND DO NOT SHOW THEM WHAT YOU ARE POSTING

I as well was completely shocked that they refused the bubble envelope. They told me that it can be sent SAL which takes decades to arrive in Europe. Let see in the future what is going to happen. I already went to another postal office and it was no problem at all. Just sad that the post office with problems is only 5 minutes from my place. I asked 10 times and the whole postal office plus manager stated the limit to ship liquid is 100 ml cc (incl. creme, toothpaste etc.) for Letter Air. It seems exporting via Thai Post must be a lot of fun (just kidding)!!!!!

Try to send 2 bottles of Liquid (Massage Oil etc.) in a bottle and wait until they say it is forbidden to ship over 100 cc via Letter Air internationally !!!!! Sometimes I do not know who comes up with these regulations at the Postal Service.

Registered or EMS has insurance and you should be reimbursed-(in theory) Reality i had a number of registered parcels going missing, its now been 3 years and i am still waiting for the money. EMS package went missing 8 months ago, they still can not find it and because they can not find, they refuse to pay. and i always thought the idea was if it can not be found-means lost-lol By the way, EMS can take 10 business days to be delivered despite the guarantee of 3-5 days delivery(PS. You will not be refunded or any kind of compensation or even an apology) For anything larger then 1 tube use Fedex or DHL, they have special price for 10kg boxes, and funny enough it is cheaper then registered post via Thailand Post and it is 3rd day delivery

Do you have any idea why they have this rule? For me it makes no sense at all They do not have this rule. This rule applies to civilised country's and the rule is no flammables. Sending cream or toothpaste really has no limit. Not only that, sending perfume is no problem at all. How do you think company's like amazon or strawberrynet send the products. So basically you will not have any problems posting any liquids unless you trying to post a bottle of petrol- lol
