Sending Bike By Thai Post

Featured Replies

hello has anyone used the posting your bike service the thai mail does?

i want to send my bike to samui from bkk but before i do that i want change the fairing and get it sprayed.

do they take care of your bike and if there is damage whats the chances of them paying up?

and does anyone know of a route planner for bikes as cant take them on express ways before you say a map. i'm useless with them

or a sat nav that can be set for bikes?

Do a quick search on this forum. There was a very long thread about using Thai Post to send bikes all over the country.

More than what you want to know, all collected there.

You don't say how big your bike is. I have seem 125 /175 sent on busses, they put them in the hold under the bus or bag space if you want to call it that.My friend sent one from Phuket to Bangkok then to Pattaya, she will be able to ride it when she gets out :) .

The Thai post is OK.. it gets a bike from one place to another.. But dont expect it to do so scratch free on nice new fairings..

Even a proper shipper I used managed to knock off a indicator when unloading from the truck.. Thier reaction was "ahh well shit happens" and the idea of any damage payment was not on the cards..
