Best Rate On A Six Month Fund

Featured Replies

got a bit over 1 % on a 6 month at SCB last year

turns out it went through k bank

so i am thinking about k bank

i don't see any investment funds on either bank's English websites

any clues or leads before i call customer service?

safety and return are my concerns

walking in, i found the English levels at the pattaya boua kaow branches made it difficult to understand some important details

thanks

This is a reasonably common thread topic, and there was a thread running just within the last week. If you scroll back through the last page or so of topics you should find it. One post in that thread also linked to a good earlier thread - again on the same topic.

You will find more threads using the Thaivisa search facility, top right this page using key search words like "best bank term deposit" or similar

I looked around for something similar and was depressed at the low rates...finally i had a go with the Thai stock exchange..i began investing 3 weeks ago..already making a tidy return. Example: bought LPN, it increased 6 % last 3 weeks and today i also got a dividend payment of 4% on my investment of 10k US in LPN ...thats 400 USd cash in hand in one month..im amazed to be honest. BUT caveat emptor, you need to take time to research your stocks...took me hours to identify half a dozen good stocks (over all my portofilio is up 3% in a month if i sold out now..but im hanging on- quite fun actually.

But ask me again when they start to go down:)
