WilliamIV
Well I consider that the one deleting should have the Courtesy to advise the Poster. Other entries here claim that is what happens. Bill

Bill <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i questioned one of the mods about mine, and they said that with all the posts they mod, if they explained every one, they'd be on all day long. The_Moog
Did your 'Trip to Beijing' post get knocked. Not surprised. Why on earth ask a question like that on Thai visa??

paulfr
Yes this happened to me too. And I am mad as ###### about it. The moderator did not even pay the courtesy of sending me a PM or email to explain. When I finally contacted him, I got a boiler plate answer ..... "no bar girl discussions". He even had the temerity to suggest I post at bargirls.com (which turns out does not exist) Even if it did, I doubt anyone there would be talking about US Imm Visas. My question was about US Imm Visas and requested personal experiences for situations of marriage and the US policy to automatically reject a couple based on a bargirl past. I fail to see how using the words 'bar girl' automatically gets a spike for a post/topic. This is a rather shallow interpretation. The subject is of high importance to me and there are few vehicles for gaining such personal experience information elsewhere. I did a little search for the words 'bar girl' and came up with three pages of posts using the word. So I feel my topic rejection was arbitrary and unfair. I'll cool down in a few days, but my problem will still be with me and that will make me resentful. ThaiVisa has been a great help to me in my first year living in Bangkok, but they sure let me down this time. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Pink Mist
posts do get deleted, sometimes it seems without explanation, in my case (at the moment) the connection isn't great and I manage the deletion, but can't manage a pm to the member with an explanation straight away, by which time the whole thing escalates. Bill did receive his explanation eventually
