Places Being Open During Protests

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anyone knew or had read anywhere, if any places particually clubs and bars are going to be open or closed during the protest dates. Id imagen ones around the particular meeting points are likely to be affected, but i was wondering about places such as RCA and clubs around Sukhumvit such as Bed club and Funky villa. If anyone knows would help me to know for what to do at the weekend.

I would suggest that if you want to party, head out to the islands for the weekend. If you have to stay in town, I'd suggest staying away from any of the trouble spots. Just find a nice quiet spot to hang out with friends. That's what I'll be doing.

Have the UDD advised what time their rallies will commence? I'm particularly interested in knowing about the one starting in Lumpinee.

most things seem to be kicking off from noon (friday). Thats when it has been said that the road blocks on certain roads will come into force.

Sukhumvit will be largely unaffected, except for traffic congestion due to the Bang Na intersection. Business as usual in Nana and Cowboy.
