Once on exit from Singapore the guy standing alongside me was told that he would have to have a new photo in his passport next time because the current photo was many many years out of date and recognition was not possible . He was given a warning letter and the passport lady entered something on her screen told him (all totally polite) that she had entered the warning into their system.
