Recently whilst in Bangkok,i asked several taxi cab owners the value of their taxi plate.

Most cities in western countries have a high cash value on taxi plates,usually well into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Some taxi owners/drivers in bangkok told me there was now no value.

Does anyone know if there is a investment in bangkok taxi plates and current market rates?

I guess contacting taxi companies in bangkok could help me as well as taxi brokers.if they have any.
