Thairathent Text Messages

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I keep getting these annoying text messages on my phone in Thai from 'ThairathEnt'. Anyone know how I can get rid of them?

Cheers,

Myauq.

Buy a new simm card and keep away from websites you don't trust in future.

If you subscribed you need to contact them to stop. If you didn't contact your mobile service provider and complain. They (passed ) or were talking about making it illegal to spam people's mobile and that AIS, TRUE and DTAC were gonna do something independently about it.

That was a press release announcement some time ago. Take it for what its worth.

I just called the DTAC call center. They were quite polite about not pretending to understand me, as they just kept asking if I wanted the language of the messages changed to English. I was put on hold, told to call back later, and put on hold again. Finally she understood that I just didn't want any spam. Strange, but judging from that experience I'd say that they haven't been trained to deal with these kind of (very minor) complaints.

Guess I just have to learn to live with it and delete them everytime. But they are becoming a nuisance. But do they send them in English? At least I'd know what it is about.
