Anybody know of bus services from Udon to Ban Muang and or the name of the company's

Do you mean Don Mueang?

If so all of the Udon-Bangkok buses go right past it and will allow you to alight if they know that that's your destination.

Chan Tour and Air Udon have offices at the old Udon bus station

There's also direct bus from Nong Khai to Suvarnabum which stops at Udon once a day

Best I can advise is take a bus from Udon to Khon Kaen. (Goto KK main bus station). Any songtaw or motor bike taxi, tuk tuk, will take you to Ban Muang. If they will not go that far ask for Ban Tum. (Its on the way on the main west road out of Khon Kaen on route 12 towards. Get dropped of there and Ban Muang is a couple of klicks down a side road, so again a songtaw or bike will do it. Lovely place I go there once a month for weekends. Hope you enjoy.
