Anna Kournikova spent her first day in Pattaya away from the snooping eyes of her legion of fans.

The glamour girl, who bowls over admirers with her friendly and graceful manner, shot a short promotional film on Pattaya at Khao Pratumnak.

In the video that will be broadcast on ESPN and Star Sports, the Russian invites people to visit Pattaya and Thailand, extolling the virtues of the Thais and the great beaches in the Kingdom.

The shooting was off limits to the general public and only 20 members of the media were allowed to witness it.

"It's amazing and I'm enjoying it. It's beautiful,'' she said when asked about her first trip to Thailand.
