A friend who's staying with me at the moment can't access his VPN via our CAT connection - his IT guy in the UK is telling me port 1723 is blocked by CAT - how can i get CAT to unblock this port???

You can Unblock every site with a proxy server !

More likely it's your computer firewall, or your router firewall. Is this CAT CDMA or CAT DSL?

BTW I am using Cisco VPN over both CAT DSL and CAT CDMA and it's just fine.

Not if the port that you use is blocked locally.......................
