I have a Tomtom One bought in the UK

I see Tomtom have released a map for Thailand but I dont think it will load onto a Tomtom One

Anybody know if it is possible

Go to this TomTom page to see if the map is available for your model. As far as I have ascertained the Thai map is only available for about 5 models.

I looked at the website, as intresting is getting a GPS unit from the GB, as cheaper that Thailand.

TomTom One does not support Thailand Maps

While there are other units that do support Thailand maps, it warns that only "Latin" characters are supported - ie English / EU languages (and not Thai for your driver / wife / girlfriend / boyfriend / etc)

It says it is downloadable for £39.95 (Plus Tax?)
