Diesel Price's

Featured Replies

A few week's ago I posted a question. Id read in BKK post, Some month's before, that the Goverment was not going to let the price of diesel, go above 30baht a lt. And was asking if this still stood. The reply's I got intimated in no unsertain term's. Id got it wrong. Well Id like to point out. I had'nt. BKK post today Business page one. What my question now is. Why at my local petrol station is it 30.29. What is where TV reader's are.

The retail price for diesel today is 29.89.

You obviously live a fair way from Bkk, as your local price has a 40 Satang delivery surcharge.

Link to official fuel prices. Here.

The recent price increase in CM seem to be going up 50 st. at a time for diesel. This seems to quickly follow a 1 to 1.5 dollar US a barrel crude oil hike. If you figure 22 to 23 gallon of vehicle fuel/bbl, it appears PTT and company are increasing their profit margins to the point of gouging. The committee that was mentioned several months ago to oversee the fuel prices etc in Thailand must be on holiday, blindfolded, asleep, or on a retainer from someone.

Thank's a bunch. Anyway Still good new's. And yes I do live outside BKK.

Diesel went up to 30,69 today in CM. Guess that blows the 40 satang transport fee and the 30 baht/liter max. charge.
