I know this should be in the computer forum but hope the mods will allow it here for now.

At about 14:20 today our TRUE TV (on cable!) signal went down and still is down. 30 seconds later our TRUE ADSL went down, also still down.

No cable cut since the TRUE tel line through which we get the ADSL is working OK, am using it now for dial-up via Lox-Info.

We are in Tungkruh (Thonburi side) about 20Km from problem spot in central BKK.

Any idea if this is a technical issue or if it could be related to the current situation?

TRUE ADSL and DSTV have been working without interruption for me in Lad Prao.

Just fine in Bangsue

Update:

It was a technical issue in our area.

Yesterday it was on-off so we waited.

Today all off. called at 11AM and they came in 3 Pick-ups to check the lines in our soi and main road at 2PM.

They confirmed that the TRUE CATV is linked to the TRUE ADSL even though we get them over individual lines.

Service resored by 3PM.

I would give TRUE service, at least in BKK a thumbs-up for their promt response, especially on a Sunday.
