wayne78
The once legendary and world famous Land of Smiles has been replaced with a land of tears, hatred and death. As a lonely and shocked nation turns its eyes towards its great leader seeking guidance, two questions remain. When will the killing stop and when will the military intervien with a Coup? londonthai
come on, political violence is in thailand all the time. Some call it class war. not always on the tv screens - many important things never will be televised. instead of them you will see smiles and serene temples. world without wars and leaders would be a better world Edited April 11, 2010 by londonthai

wintermute
This is really nothing at all. Compare this to some of the crazy stuff that happens in South America or your average hooligan infested football match in the EU.

Sunderland
Just been to the local market near Sena Nikhom. It's quiet today and quite a lot of people chatting about yesterday. Sedate atmosphere, but still smiles to be seen. This is still Thailand after all. One day of violence will not change everything. There may be more to follow, but the smiles won't fade completely. Guaranteed.
