a very irate thai man told me--------many times-------on the plane from mumbai----was bombay----to bkk on 7th april that the 2 bottles of whisky he bought at duty free at heathrow were forcibly removed from him at mumbai airport because you are not allowed to take alcohol into india.

you can of course buy it at mumbai to take away. anyway dont take any alcohol from bkk on a plane that stops or has a stop over in india or you will suffer the same fate as the thai man---------i felt sorry for him and ordered 2 whiskys from the free drinks on the plane and gave them to him which he drank with his freebies and then went to sleep and stopped telling me about the whisky he lost !!

this guy was smart and in a suit not a yob by the way but they still got him.
