A funny thing happened the other day....

My sister-in-law brought us home some KFC a few days ago as a thoughtful gift.

Inside the bag were a few items, one in a paper wrapper labeled "Fit Burger".

My first thoughts were, "hmmm, KFC has a healthier chicken burger on the menu. Great. Perhaps it's made with roasted chicken and not so greasy - hence, fit."

Upon opening the wrapper, I was surprised to find what looked like a breaded deep-fried patty.

I thought, "what's 'fit' about that??"

So I bit into it to see what it was that could possibly be "fit".

Lo and behold, it was FISH !!

I thought, "Ah-ha, the Thai pronunciation of 'fish' is 'fit'".

I would have thought KFC was meticulous enough to have printed the correct English spelling on the wrapper...but I guess not.

I was laughing for days afterwords.

Fit Burger.

Too funny.

We can file this under Priceless.

Actually, they did have a Fit Burger, just as you described - but it tasted terrible and I guess they've cancelled it - but some bright spark decided that the wrappers were also suitable for Fish burgers

I wonder if they'll bring the double down into Thailand. That would be interesting.

It could be they used the wrong wrapper... as the patty it came with was breaded and deep fried.

White flaky meat inside - sure seemed like fish.

Actually I looked some more and there is a fish fit burger in addition to shrimp and chicken fit burgers. The menu I have that I order delivery with doesn't show it though.
