Much to my dismay tonight I am having difficulty watching football on the internet through several of my normal sites. They are displaying the message "This website has been blocked by ICT". Not been a problem for me all season until tonight.

Any other people having this problem? Ustream in particular. Also ideas as to why?

Presumably, the exclusive rights holder for the EPL, True Visions, has complained and got them to take these things down.

Censorship has the unfortunate tendency to expand ever further out from its original purpose. After all, these streaming sites are not illegal until a Judge has declared them so. But what probably happened is one True exec made a phone call to the ICT and they went and blocked these sites no judge no jury. Initially censorship was enacted to "block porn" and insults to the monarchy. Now we have the system acting on the whim of commercial entities.

I think probably somebody was broadcasting on JustinTV their view of how Thailand should move forward so the whole site is blocked, then they moved onto U Stream whole site blocked, could be Thai soaps for everybody soon .

myp2p is a good site but of late the internet is too slow to watch the football on most of their links. Same with Sopcast. Ustream was watchable while the speeds are down. Definitely frustrating not to have the football.

Maybe someone has had a word in someone else's ear. Looks like it is time to install one of "those" satellite systems in readiness for the World Cup.
