April 24, 201016 yr just looking through the manual, and recommended tyre pressure is 32 and 39 ( front / back ). Is this for real? The dealer put in 30 and 32 respectively......... p..s always confused me ....... the front is the most heaviest part of the car with the engine, why is the pressure lower than on the lighter back?
April 24, 201016 yr Depend's on make and model Toyota Vigo 29 all round, fortuna 30 A/R there 2.5 pick up under load is 39 front 46 rear. so you tell me???
April 24, 201016 yr The front is always less, on a car/bike or whatever, because that's your steering part.
April 24, 201016 yr There is a lot of good information I've provided on this very topic in another thread about why tires appear to loose so much air here.. To answer your question properly it is necessary to know if it is F or RWD? But short answer is that tire pressure recommendations are matched to the handling characteristics to promote "under-steer" or "push" as it is easier for the lay driver to control..
