Somewhere To Stay In Mukdahan

Featured Replies

Can any recommend accommodation in Mukdahan.

I want a quiet clean room.

I do not need, swimming pool, resturant, music or dancing.

Don't mention Ploy or The Grand.

I've stayed at the Ploy a few times, but like you wouldn't reccomend it. There's a small hotel about 100 mtrs. down the road, but again it doesn't look as good as the Ploy. I did notice another hotel but can't remember the name. If you come out of the Ploy and turn right, go down the street and round the right hand bend as if you are going towards Kham-cha-ee and Kalasin, before you get to the traffic lights there's a hotel on the left. Thinking of trying it myself on next trip. Apart from that one, the best hotel I can think of is at Nahkon Phanon - "River View" but it's a few miles north. Sorry I can't be of any more help. If you find a good place, let us know!!

Hi Happy,

The hotel you mentioned is the Muktara and rooms start at 400 baht.

There is a brand new hotel now, called the RIVER INN and is situated on the road going to the tower on the right hand side.

I stayed there for 700 baht including asian breakfast.

Rooms are nice and the bathroom passes the shower test.

Yes you can have a shower without making the bog roll wet.

Breakfast was disappointing.

If you need any reccies for Beung Kan, Phon Phisai or Nong Khai give me a shout.
