Red Shirt Roadblocks

Featured Replies

MY missus drove back from the north at night and was irritated and intimidated to be stopped at two Red Shirts roadblocks between Udon and Khon Kien, where these oafs carried sticks and shone torches into cars and in faces.

At one roadblock she counted 50 Red Shirts.

Has the goverment completely lost control of the country, or lost control of the local police, to allow this to go on, or was this an unusual? Anyone else encountered these roadblocks upcountry?

looks like it's happening much more, than "the nation" and news agencies report

we ran into one tonight in bkk,,, old lady didnt stop, to say the least they didnt look pleased

biased news source is better than censored or not active news source. Tomorrow or within days this biased news can be verified by blogs and posts on the forums - so far posts on this and the other forums confirm, that something is happening on the streets, which is not brodcasted by tv and radio.

surely professor of political studies don't take his info from the stars and reading his articles you should be aware of his origin - same, when you read the nation or another biased source

Since this thread hasn't stayed on the original (and different) topic, I am now closing it. Take the political talk to the news threads, please.
