This announcement shows the yellows (like a lot of TV forum posters) are just a hate group that don't know how to solve the problems of this nation, nor are they interested.

Survivor' star Russell Hantz arrested in Louisiana

by Jeff Labrecque Categories: Lawsuits, News, Survivor, Television Russell Hantz of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains was arrested early this morning in Lafayette, La. According to a spokesperson for the Lafayette Police Department, the reality TV star was taken into custody at 2 a.m., 15 minutes after an emergency call reported a physical confrontation near Justin Street. Hantz was charged with simple battery and released at 4:30 this morning. No bail was required, but he was given a misdemeanor summons and a court date scheduled for June 24. CBS declined to comment.

If he is 'him' why didn't he put his own photo as an avatar rather than some fat, bald old guy with a stick?

Whatever, he has his extremely RED point of view and no normal discourse will alter it to the truth. He is definitely a red-bellied 'no shirt' now though.

If the list is forthcoming, it will be interesting. The leaders of the factions supporting the UDD are very rich and have many major businesses alll over Thailand. For instance, I believe Jutaporn Prompan's family owns a large luxury hotel, amoung other business in the Southern Province they control.

You assume incorrectly that all farmers in Thailand are "Red", in fact to even assume that all farmers in Isaan are red would be wrong. The rice farmers in and around Nakhon Nayok are far from Red and produce larger yeilds per rai than in the NE.

LOL show me where I said all farmers in Issan are red.

After the price of non-red grown rice shoots to 5000 baht a kilogram due to lack of supply the yellows will finally realise it was a stupid idea after all.

ps, thats super that those farmers in Nakhon Nayok are producing larger yeilds than those in the NE. someone give them a medal

lets be honest, red shirts arent exactly making it easy for anyone to do buisness in downtown,, and its a consumers right to choose not to do buisness with any group they see fit, i fail to see how this constitutes them being a hate group. If they want to get rid of the elite,, they need to learn how to live without their money, you dont get to have it both ways :)

well that would work if issan was the only place in thailand producing rice,, bet farmers from other reigions would be more than happy to see that happen,

LOL .. I see you have thought this through very completely! "5000 baht/kg for non-red rice" :)

On the other hand --- the rest of the country MIGHT be able to charge a bit more for their rice just by marketing it with that strategy!

"Non-Red Rice --- Grown by honest farmers!"

After all -- the reds are damaging the country enough that there will be a swing in directions they don't expect.

If Thais have a choice between paying inflated prices for goods and making a political statement, they will time and time again choose to save their money.

:) taxis or tuktuk/motorcycles with anything red in bkk would be the easiest to avoid

Some week ago a lot of the bike-taxis around the office was donning red scarfs etc. This last week I haven't seen anyone of them carry anything. I suppose even they have had enough or are starting to realize that when you are a mc-driver in a middle-class area you should not spit in your customers face.
