Mobile Network Providers...

Featured Replies

I was wondering what peoples opinions are on the best mobile network provider in Thailand. I currently use orange and am on their new 25 satang promotion however I am finding that the network is often overloaded with people and I cannot make calls. I have also noticed that 1-2 call (AIS) has pretty much matched this promotion - but do they suffer the same problems?. I am considering switching to AIS but that means losing my current number and subsequent hassles.

Opinions on this issue would be greatly welcomed.

My humble opinion only, but I call much, using both DTAC and AIS.

1. AIS / One-2-Call is outstanding, regardless of province. Best coverage.

2. DTAC / UnLucky Dprompt have better GPRS but is an 1800 system, so quality normally bad.

3. Orange - Just forget them - amateaurs

All of them offer 0.25 - 0.75 Baht/minute now.

Wish they had a quality service instead of a price war!
