Do I need a Thai licence to drive a motorbike during my next vacation in Thailand or do I have to bring along an International Driving Licence?

Motorbikes obviously can be rented at any street corner but what about the papers?

or 500 in bangkok :D Though unlike other countries yer licence is no good in your desk draw @ home, you need to have it in yer possesion whilst driving or they will fine u regardless :o

You need international permit along with your uk driving license...or the fine is 300 baht!!!in the south anyway!!easy to get in uk for 5-50 fot a year in any large post office
