Partnership Dispute

Featured Replies

Hi,

I would like to have some advice for Partnership Dispute.

What can I do and What Should I do if my PARTNER was dealing with the client behind my back.

The story is long and will explain in details

But at the moment now I really need Pro help on this urgently.

Thank you

Hi,

At this point there is neither a crime nor reason for civil action since you say it was only a discussion. Should it become more than a discussion, then it would depend on the nature of your partnership and what agreement you have with your partner.

Bear in mind that civil actions are a drawn out process in Thailand, so even in the event that there is an actual action to defraud you in the future, any action that you may take would probably not prevent further and ongoing damage to you. At the end of the day, if you are the main contributor to your partnership in terms of knowledge and ability, then you'd best start thinking in terms of going off on your own anyway. If this is not the case, welcome to the world of business where partners seem to do this kind of thing all the time... ever so unfortunately.

Best of luck
