Fantastic fares from Bangkok

Dear Somchai,

Gulf Air brings you fantastic fares from Bangkok. Economy class tickets to these destinations are available for sale

until 30th June 2010, and are applicable on a return flight booked from Bangkok*. e-mail from Gulf Air

Are they trying to drop a hint???????????

seems normal prices to me

FYI Gulf Air has been in financial trouble for the past decade. One of their promotions for the ongoing years is to have a very limited number of seats on every plane at very reduced rates. If you book apporximately 2-3 months ahead of time these are usually available. Warning though: Gulfair in my experiences are late. If you have an hour lay over do not count on Gulf air. That is entirely too short of a time period in my experience. Go to AirAsia for the promotions they are having right now. Not as good as in the past or the 0 baht fares of the past but we got what I thought was a good bargain just now. Airasia charges you for every little thing though. Oh and Gulf Air bonus awards is terrible. You earn 25% of the actual miles you fly. But by being a memebr you get about 5 kilos extra for lugage allowance. I have found I can bump from econo to business for less then $150 some times. not a predictable airlines. Qatar and Etihad are better service provides from the ME.
