Also tried her brother cell phone and her aunt's cell phone. Can not connect. I called a friend with a regular landline phone, and got through fine. Any shut down of calling a cell phone from abroad? longball53098 Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 My wifes cousin has the same issues calling cell numbers. Some seem to work one time and then cannot connect. lopburi3 Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 There were severe storms in Bangkok this morning so it may have had some effect - also government was supposed to start sending SMS messages in bulk so that could also be an issue.
