I need to go to Bangkok with my gf in the next couple of weeks to get our China visas for an upcoming trip. Is the embassy in a red shirt-free area? Any advice?

It's on Ratchadaphisek. MRT Station "Thailand Cultural Center". Look for Chinese Embassy on exit signs.

You do not need to go to pantip when you go to the embassy it is near fortune town same thing computers and phones whatever.
