You insert your SIM into that devise and plug it into a USB port on your notebook. There are several payment packages to choose from. Sorry - not really sure what it's called. tw25rw Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 As I understand it, you have a mobile that connects to the internet and you want to use it as a modem? If you have one of the mobiles that work as a modem, you won't need any software other than what comes with the phone. I have an Omnia and use it for that. It's a shit phone but adequate for the internet. When the phone is connected via usb, switch on the modem function and, assuming you have a mobile internet connection, you'll get the pop up message on the PC saying the network is connected. Sunbelt Asia Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 It may, however, require software from Samsung. I only have experience with Nokia, which also runs Symbian S60 like many Samsung phones. In Nokia's case, you double-click the icon in the Nokia PC Suite, choose your proivder (AIS, DTAC) and click connect. That simple.
