HowardJohnson
Hi Guys, We were delayed in applying for my step daughters settlement visa application for the UK (Long story!) but finally got it in on 30th March and now, due in part to the longer application processing times, it looks like we won't get her visa until after the TB certificate expiry date of 15th May. I suspect that we will have to get another one but has anybody experienced this situation and managed to find a way of getting the current certificate extended? Cheers! sumrit
It's not a problem. The TB certificate only has to be valid when you submit the application. It doesn't matter if it expires either before the visa is issued or before you travel to the UK. You won't have to get a new one.

HowardJohnson
From: [email protected] RE: VCS309980: General information Thank you for your enquiry. The fact that the TB certificate was valid when lodged with the visa application will be sufficient for purpose. Once again, thank you to the clever, clever people here at Thai Visa! Cheers! HoJo
